Arriving in Cairo, an Egypt Day Tours representative assists with airport procedures and transfers you to your hotel. On the second day, explore the Pyramids of Giza and the Great Sphinx, followed by a visit to the Grand Egyptian Museum before boarding the sleeper train to Aswan.

In Aswan, visit the High Dam, the Unfinished Obelisk, and Philae Temple. Enjoy a free day in Aswan, then head to Edfu and Kom Ombo temples on your way to Luxor. In Luxor, visit the Valley of the Kings, Queen Hatshepsut’s Temple, Karnak Temple, and Luxor Temple.

Take the sleeper train back to Cairo, where you’ll have a free day to explore before your departure on the last day.

Travel Itinerary

Day 1 - Arrival Day – Cairo

Arrive at Cairo Airport. Your representative assists with visa and baggage, then transfers you to your hotel. Evening free.

Day 2 - Visit the Great Pyramids and Grand Egyptian Museum – Overnight Sleeper Train

Morning tour of the Giza Pyramids, Sphinx, and Valley Temple. Afternoon at the Grand Egyptian Museum (Tutankhamun’s treasures). Evening transfer to Giza station for overnight sleeper train to Aswan (dinner and breakfast on board).

Day 3 - Aswan – High Dam, Philae Temple & Unfinished Obelisk

Arrive in Aswan. Visit the High Dam, the Unfinished Obelisk, and Philae Temple (Isis). Transfer to your Aswan hotel. Free evening.

Day 4 - Free Day in Aswan

Full day at leisure. Optional excursions: Abu Simbel by road, Nubian village visit, or felucca ride on the Nile.

Day 5 - Edfu & Kom Ombo Temples – Transfer to Luxor

Morning drive to Edfu. Visit Edfu Temple (Horus) by horse‑drawn carriage. Continue to Kom Ombo to see the double temple dedicated to Sobek and Haroeris. After the tour, drive to Luxor. Overnight in Luxor.

Day 6 - Luxor – East Bank & West Bank – Overnight Sleeper Train to Cairo
